In this group, we aim to nurture emotional resilience, cultivate a sense of belonging, and assist nurses in navigating the complex challenges that arise in this demanding career. Our facilitators are here to guide and support you through this journey towards emotional well-being in nursing. Together, we'll explore coping mechanisms, develop skills for emotional regulation, and challenge narratives that may hinder your ability to thrive as a nurse.

Nursing can be difficult. Every emotion you're experiencing, every thought you're grappling with, and every coping mechanism you've used is valid.

We all have our ways of navigating the complex emotional challenges that can arise from the nursing profession. However, acknowledging and addressing these emotions is crucial for continuing sustainably in this career.

Here at everwell, we believe there is strength in community and the transformative power of shared experiences. By introducing a group therapy program tailored for nurses, we recognize that nursing is not just a profession but a calling loaded with unique challenges.

Our group is tailored for nurses dealing with the emotional strains of the healthcare environment. We are committed to providing a supportive space for processing emotions, alleviating overwhelm, and fostering a community of empathetic professionals. The nursing journey is demanding, and navigating the complexities of nursing, where burnout, compassion fatigue, and the challenge of meeting care standards with limited resources are ever-present, requires resilience and a supportive community.

This group will be facilitated by Lindsay Ryan, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).
Lindsay has an awareness of the various factors impacting nurses' mental health and has a respect for the unique circumstances nurses face in their daily lives. Lindsay has her own lived experience of neurodiversity and has pursued specialized training in working with clients in her psychotherapy practice who have ADHD or Autism. Lindsay will be joined by Armaan Amlani-Kurji, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), one of our therapist interns with a special interest in this area and his own previous experience of the nursing profession.

The workshop will be led by Lindsay, an everwell therapist with a special interest in supporting Nurses.

Armaan, one of our therapist interns, will be facilitating this group along with Lindsay.
