Registered Massage Therapist
I'm a dreamer and a doer. My only dream as a little girl was to help and care for people so I started out in social work but - was always left with a bad taste in my mouth - dealing with the politics blocked the way to helping others. In 2007 my journey led me to massage therapy school and a whole new path to healing and helping.
In 2009, I began my career in Massage Therapy and started my entrepreneurial journey. I established Apple Tree Health and Wellness - a center that offered people a place to go to heal physically, mentally and spiritually - and also successfully built up an international health and wellness business with my tribe the Wild and Free Collective.
In 2017 I changed my focus outside of massage therapy to building up other women through my business Luscious Lip Duo, a business that I have built with my daughter. Together we help women learn to love themselves. In the future, I will be completing my Life Coaching course and will be taking my work with women and couples even further. I am excited to see what the future holds and am excited to be continuing my massage therapy career with everwell, never forgetting the reason my journey began to heal and care for my community.
Q & A with Kate
What made you decide to choose your current profession?
" I was working in Social Work doing addiction counselling and was having a hard time balancing being a single Mom and work. I decided I needed a new career that would allow me to help people but also be more present and available for my daughter. Voilà! Massage therapy and running my own business allowed me to make my own schedule and help people! "
